We missed Barbershop Quartet Day, but we’re always ready to celebrate Lubbock’s oldest quartet! The Lubbock Quartet is first mentioned performing alongside the Methodist Choir in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal in 1921. The song playing is one of the earliest known recordings of music from Lubbock.
