All the dough bros and bread girlies know this already, but using Bread Flour makes such a difference esp with sourdough. If I use AP flour it’s always glorpy and sticky, with bread flour it isn’t sticky and holds its shape so well. It’s taken me years to admit that I should keep both flours around.

What I say: I made Turkey pot pies from scratch with homemade crust, homemade stock, and leftover turkey What the kids hear: I made disgusting slop again (These pies are bangers if I do say so myself, the kids have no taste)

I heard a cicada last night. Hot temps are one thing, but for me it’s not really summer until the cicadas start singing.

This novella might be the best audiobook I’ve listened to all year. I’m sure the print version is good but the story really shines as an audiobook (with singing)! 🪐📚
