This is one of two Ruff today present in one of the slacks at Kenfig NNR. A Black-tailed Godwit was also present but all three were constantly being mobbed by two Lapwing and regularly flying away.

A visit to one of the Red Kite feeding stations always allows the chance to practice birds in flight as well as admire these beautiful birds. These were taken at Llanddeusant Kite Feeding station this week.

Lots of Reed Warblers singing at Kenfig NNR at the moment but difficult to see as they tend to stay low down in the reeds. This one has been frustrating me since arriving but rewarded me with good views this morning.

Turnstones are one of those birds that are often overlooked but have a beauty all of their own and can be quite confiding. This was one of several that came within a few feet of me at Sker today.
