As of today I’ve removed Twitter from my phone and locked my account. Elon going all in on Generative AI, including enabling Grok to generate deepfakes OF MINORS is unconscionable. This year we ALL need to be louder than ever about this: GenAI is largely unethical and needs to be regulated.

After having found out that X or Twitter (whatever you wanna call it) made it so you can edit art/photos that people post. I very quickly deleted my account off the platform. I thought I’d already done it after all the other stuff they’d rolled out but, that was the cherry on top. 🧵

Just finished watching KOG and holy shit I’m so excited for this show to continue. This is genuinely a great pilot and as I was watching this it felt extremely thought out and like it was made with everything that all of the people working on it could give. I genuinely suggest watching!

"AI artists" and "AI art" are both misnomers. The "artist" didn't create the images - the AI did. At best, they should be called "AI prompters". And the pictures are guesses created by the AI with no intention; they're an "output", not "art". Stigmatize the hell out of 'em.
