You ladies trying on these “barrel jeans” yet? I tried on two pair today in my size and below my size and both hung off me like I was trying to have hips and thighs I didn’t have or something. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong here. Lol

When I told my husband I was hearing of this brewing in the last couple years, he rolled his eyes and called it fringe. And maybe it is. But just about everyone operating in this government right now in key positions falls in that category.

I cannot say this locally. But I need to say it. Covid traumatized me over this to the point that I don’t cover this under spiritual language. I have to stick it under trauma. Politics has become so weird that a lot of it brings a feeling of trauma for me.

A lady needing to go to the altar today climbed over me. Standing as she crossed, I thought, she’s going to knock over my tea thermos, so as she crossed over me, I sank to a seating position and caught the metal flask half-way on its way to collision. I am super-hero.

I am really having a hard time separating “people” from “politics” today, and it does not bode well for my well-being.

I am not fond of cold weather. But I do love new golden yellow soft blankets, and just remembered that I’ve been collecting lots of wool for just this occasion! See the owls?! 😍

Finally decided 9 yrs after a kitchen flood to not redo kitchen cabinets (did replace the floor) & try cleaning/restoring my brown/red cherry look that I love. -I was going to put the exact same configuration back. -wasn’t awed by any updates -calling warm toned wood “orange” is an abomination.

My newest thrifted victim. I find ripping out old monograms quite therapeutic these days!

My husband’s vehicle was in the shop last week. He drove mine. All the check engine lights and parking brake lights came on. (New catalytic converter needed.) This week, his is back in the shop. He ran over a dead deer left in the road with mine. I think he’s lost all driving privileges.
