This week watching the world unravel. Wondering about the disconnect between my social media feed compared to mainstream media reporting. Is the algorithm just feeding me resistance, because I want to see it? Or is the real world just happy to watch an epoch event like it was a marvel movie?

Moved mum into a care home a week ago. It is an emotionally confusing thing to see the impact of Alzheimers on a person. Her sense of humour is still fully intact, so at least we can laugh. Here is a picture I drew of her a few months ago.

I made cheese .. that is pretending to be cauliflower. First attempt at mozzarella tasted like feta, so I’m claiming it as a success. Vegetarian cheese that looks like a vegetable. ⭐️

This week I am mostly following people who are ‘part of the resistance.’ ❤️ (A loose term I apply to those being vocal against the rising fascism in the us. ) As a us born, uk resident with family over there I am finding my tribe.
