I love how a lot of Zahm & Nagel stuff has all these gauges and pressure and valves but then the next step is just "shake down the whole apparatus" because it owes you not money, but data. 2:56 for the initial shakedown.

Saturday May 3, 6pm, we're down at Beermiscuous Lakeview for a special Japanese-style beer service event serving Hopewell Sharp on Swing Lever, with ice chilled glasses and full complement of specialty pours. Sharp Pour is the default (they named their Japanese lager after the pour.)

4 months ago I broke a lug off a PET sixtel so it's pretty much impossible for it to couple. I had a dream that there was some kind of special coupler adapter that allowed a hook up. I don't think it exists.

i have no clue where I got this formula years ago, but to find the fluid ounces per foot in beer line, =CONVERT((PI()*((D/2)*(D/2)))*12,"in^3","oz") where D is the inner diameter of the beer line. 6.3mm ID beer line (1/4") is .326, close to the often quoted 1/3 oz.

Did a Dark Mild feature last couple weeks. The classic Dark Pub Ale was on Lukr, Cask, and in three cans. I forgot to feature one of the cans we had in stock on the little tally sheet we had going! It was the packaged version of Art History's Dark Mild.

Can confirm it was received, and it is a very cute keg

Our stretch of Washington Ave is being resurfaced with a schedule of April 21-June 18, which includes the parking spaces our seasonal beer garden occupies though a permit.

Glunz has 20L kegs of Orion "The Draft" in the warehouse. Draft of "The Draft" Providing it comes in tomorrow, we'll put it on Japanese style service at the next opportunity.

Today's our last day for Asahi Super Dry on the CMBecker V20 creamer faucet. While the distro still has the rare import keg from Japan, we're ordering one more 19L to rotate onto the Lukr side pull for Czech service. Swing Lever (beer hall) CMB V20S (common faucet) Lukr (Pilsner Urquell influence)

I measured. If you want to split the G to the top of the spur in the "new" harp embossed branded glass, you need to drink about 135ml (4.57 US oz). This assumes the bottom of the foam cap has settled to the top of the harp, about 510ml (17.25 US oz) liquid and 380ml (12.85 US oz) remaining.

Czech word endings follow can rotate if you aren't used to the concept of declension. "Polotmavé pivo" has the short Eh ending while "polotmavý ležák" is like po-lo-t-mav-ee but in my experience Czechs will always let me know how good or how bad you got it.

Getting a S coupler ready for tomorrow. We tap 19L kegs of 5.0% Asahi Super Dry produced in Japan, likely the only time we will ever have access to that as it should be brewing in Waunakee eventually. (was told it needs to hit the targets on 3 subsequent batches before earning release)

the only keg of Guinness ever featured on our lines (and probably ever) was 50 liters in 3 days. We brought it on at request for a semi-private event. Sold 31 on Fri, 44 on Sat and the remainder for Sunday. Feels good too see my draft line calculations were correct.
