Last night I very politely asked a man to put his phone away during a movie (he was casually fielding texts at full brightness at eye level — not that any permutation of brightness/level is acceptable)

Trump thinks his followers are stupid, and he doesn’t even try to hide it. It’s the one thing he’s right about.

I wish journalists understood that even though they’d lose direct access by grilling Trump HARD (or even just calling him out when he pulls some childish move), they’d immediately have an even more lucrative career. That said, they should be doing it anyway just because it’s the right thing to do.
