It is an exciting week for us - we have a new website 💻👍 please take a look www.openingdoors.org.uk We have also been working hard behind the scenes to change our charity over to being a CIO. This is just a safer type of charity and will help us run things ourselves safely and well.

Its nearly Christmas - like everything this can be lovely or stressful or fun or lonely. It might be all of those things all at once and a change of routine can be hard. Here are numbers where you can get support if you are struggling. We hope everyone has the best Christmas they can 🎄

Christmas comes to Winter Warmer on Monday 15 December. Here at our office from 12pm to 3pm we are all about CHRISTMAS If you have a #LearningDisability and can get yourself to our office why not pop in for fun, games, prizes and Christmas snacks 🎄

It is #SafeguardingAdultsWeek In July this year we worked with Healthwatch Norfolk to run workshops across Norfolk finding out what people with #LearningDisabilities know about #safeguarding Now we are working with @norfolkcc.bsky.social to make things better.

For the last 2 years we held an amazing event run by and for adults with learning disabilities in Norwich. Sadly, we won’t be running a Healthy, Happy, Safe event this year because we didn’t get the funding. We are working hard to bring it back in June 2026. Thank you for your support!

It is Managemrnt Committee day. This is where we run our charity day to day. We are learning about @mylifemychoice1.bsky.social campaign called We Can't Wait. We will decide if our charity should sign up. We are saying it is wrong that people with #LearningDisabilities have shorter lives
