At 08:50hrs on 17th March, after a heads up from Beachy Head, we noted a Brent Goose with a back mounted tag fly east. The bird had been tagged on 4th Feb at Saint-Armel in France, leaving that area on the evening of the 16th. It finished its flight at West-Terschelling at 3pm on the 17th!

Well what a few days in my part of Kent. I started out a Ramsgate Cemetery mid morning with yet another Y-br Warbler, then News broke of the Red-flanked Bluetail still in Margate Cemetery. After an hour wait the bird showed well fly catching...#kentbirding

Zitting Cisticola this morning was not on my bingo card when I went looking for Whinchat . About time I found something and on a KOS day #kentbirding #ukbirding 👌

​The local gulls alerted me to a flock of 15 White Storks over the rooftops circling not really knowing which way to go at 12.20-12.35, over the house a few times then eventually headed very low east over the rooftops and out of view. Obviously birds from the Knepp reintroduction project.
