Another song on the album, “Generation Us”: When we were writing, thinking about the turmoil in the world and what our moms would have thought about it since each of them passed away. This song is about how social responsibility transfers from generation to generation and it’s on us, now.

Stopped by Bluebond guitar shop to reminisce, film some content and try to resist the urge to pick up new gear (and failed)! - this place is a piece of Philly’s music history. A lot of legends have passed through here, a lot of guitar lessons, a lot of respect for the instruments.

The first words from Shawn were, “Well, Hello! You look familiar but I don’t think that I’ve seen you here before” and the 3 of us had not been together since the late 80s before tours, hits, songs and—most of all—lives. 1 chorus line that says so much? “Mistakes are where miracles are born to be.”

 Hey, I’m Clay. I’ve been playing guitar for as long as I can remember, and this album is a full circle moment. It’s about where we’ve been, the journeys we’ve had, and where we’re headed! Four days, ten songs, and a lot of laughs.
