My mum is currently in hospital undergoing "rehab" for a fractured sacrum. She's 90 and frighteningly frail. Pre-hospital she could get around well enough with a walker but 3 weeks in hospital/rehab seems to have wearied the body. The mind is sharp. It's a scary view into my own future.
