#AntagonistApril Well, there's so many episodic stories within the main overarching story, so there are many antagonists around. There are few important ones. The obvious ones are the king of Lastak's home country and a few others in his court, and a couple of crime bosses. 1/2

#AwesomeCharacters There are a few but I'll go with Fen. He's a fire mage and enjoys the occasional arson, and is a perpetual optimist. Lastak likes him but finds him a little tiring to be around. You know things are bad when he's serious.

#AwesomeCharacters She's been avoiding formal education for while so it might be difficult to convince her to go, but I think Lastak would enjoy something science-y and hands on. If the choice was up to her she'd pick martial arts or something magic related.

#AwesomeCharacters Lastak tries to sleep well, but she has some problems due to a combination of circumstances (nightmares mostly, and her naturally late sleep-wake cycle among others).

#AwesomeCharacters Yeah Lastak doesn't ask for help. She was raised to not show weakness and asking for help is showing weakness. Yes, this has come back to bite her, multiple times.

#AwesomeCharacters Sort of. It's Lastak's own thoughts so she's not lying deliberately, but her perceptions can be skewed, and her assessments of situations aren't always correct, and later on things get a little more complicated for reasons.

#Marchistics 25 It's regular money. They've gotten around to paper money nothing more advanced than that. You can also use cheques for larger amounts. Bartering happens but it's pretty rare and happens mostly only in rural areas at this point.

#AwesomeCharacters There are so many ways this could have happened. Not Lastak's fault, she can't set things on fire except the hard way, but I'm not ruling out her involvement. And if the guards know their plans went wrong somewhere (unless that is the plan somehow).

#AwesomeCharacters I have a bad habit of adding a lot of characters to the story at once. And I can easily hold all of them in my head at once and I do, often. They're all from one story/setting at a time though, I can't do multiple settings simultaneously.

#Marchistics 22 Noodle carts, noodle shops, restaurants, maybe a shop/market if you want to buy the ingredients and make it yourself. Some of the shops can be seriously high quality but once they're known as such it's hard to get in.

#Marchistics 24 It's mixed. There are people who will search for rare, exotic, hard to find flavours and some of those aren't great for the environment if harvested irresponsibly, but nature spirits are a thing and they will object if you go too far. So these are stupid rich people things. 1/2

#Marchistics 18 (Sorry late again) The grain will grow when it will so there's a lot of storage needed. A lot goes into regular grain storage in villages. The rest goes into (mostly government run) storage which use magic to prevent spoilage (extremely simplified). 1/2

#Marchistics 17 (Sorry I'm late) It's mostly a combination of trains and carts and vehicles and none of these are exactly like their real world equivalent. Okay maybe the cart but not the horses. About the other two the oddest thing might be the battery(?) swapping.

Instead of AI for covers, use: -premades (most are under $100) -use royalty free pictures/art. There are TONS, especially within museum databases that you can use. -Get a shitty cover and upgrade when you have money AI will poison your career forever. Don't do it.

#AwesomeCharacters Lastak's current life is a second chance the way she sees it, though she doesn't expect it to last. She's determined to make the best of it so that she doesn't disappear without a trace.

#Marchistics 16 Anyone can walk into a restaurant and get a bowl of noodles. Not sure what else I can say here. Affordability isn't an issue for most people and you can also make it yourself. Though I suppose you'd get questioning looks if you ordered a restaurant's supply to a house.

#AwesomeCharacters I'm not sure she would recognize a piece as such, but as for dessert, she'll likely enjoy something sweet. She hasn't really had anything sweet in a while. She's not picky.

I think Lastak would do very well against a vampire (depending on the version of vampire in question of course). She can see perfectly in the dark and she has some combat training, and she is fully capable of driving a stake in at range.

#Marchistics 13 Regular food inspection, but the various production plants have their own quality control on top of that. Of course the quality of this quality control varies with whether they're big operations or small artisanal products or something in between. 1/2

#AwesomeCharacters I'd want to see the temple complex and walk/bike along the river. They station might be nice too, and there are so many places I want to see in the city (and further away). It would be nice having them show me around, as long as they don't figure out who I am.

#Marchistics 12 Definitely. It's flour and the noodles made from them, and there would be rioting on the streets if it was only sold to the various noodles vendors.

#AwesomeCharacters Lastak is generally quiet, and she can move almost noiselessly when she wants to. She doesn't bother to do that day to day though. She also rarely speaks unless she has to, mostly because she's self-conscious about her accent.

#AwesomeCharacters Lastak is probably the detective because the others will be helping her hide the body otherwise. Fen is probably trying to find and set the killer on fire. Res is occupied putting out said fires. Entei deduces the killer correctly and loses a few feathers trying to catch 1/2

#Marchistics 11 There's the rest of the plant that isn't the grain. It's used for animal feed, thatch, for making various things (hats, etc.), bedding for animals and humans, etc. There's so much of it after harvest that they have to do something with it.

#Marchistics 10 Not secretive at all, though it requires a lot of specialized skill from a lot of people (creating machinery for milling grain, design of storage, the processing of flour, all of it). It's a mixture of guilds, on the job training, and university education depending on the task. 1/2

#AwesomeCharacters Yes Lastak is imaginative. Unfortunately her imagination immediately jumps to the worst case possibility in any given situation. It has landed in trouble (paranoia) and helped her out (creative problem solving).

#Marchistics 9 The grain is milled through a system of mills powered by wind and water (there's a bit of magic involved here usually). Then it's made into noodles mostly in small factories. Everything is very distributed by design, though there are some larger mills and factories around. 1/2

#AwesomeCharacters Lastak has two categories that things fall into. She'll go along with what the others are doing if it's something she doesn't care about. If it's something she wants though, you're not moving her. She's also fully capable of keeping at a task for years out of spite.

#Matchistics 8 Well, if any of you remember a certain nearby river, you probably have a good idea. There haven't been wars over the access to grain since environmental reasons led to an agricultural collapse but that was a few centuries ago. However, there's a river nearby that objects to 1/2

#AwesomeCharacters I would have to run, I think. There's no way I'm getting out of this alive if Lastak and a few other side characters learn I'm responsible for everything that happened lol. The real question is how long I'd last.

#Marchistics 7 It's grain, so there's little chance of it, especially with the millenia of farming practices designed to keep the fields productive long term. They also keep a backup of stored grain in case of a crop failure.
