The things that amuse me.

Happiness is not a “reward” for making the right choices in life, or reserved only for certain people under specific circumstances. Happiness is a mind-set, an attitude, a way of looking at world around you and focusing on the things that actually matter, and is attainable by anyone.

I’m drowning in anxiety right now… and it’s spiraling into depression. Even the cat who never cuddles is next to me in my chair purring and rubbing up against me. He is picking up that I’m not feeling myself. I love these animals with all my heart.

Sensory Overload - it’s really hitting me right now now that the sun has gone down and everyone is celebrating with fireworks. 45minutes before the curfew hits and I can get some peace. For now; some noise canceling headphones, soft music, and a sleeping cat in my lap.

Start my new job tomorrow - and I am so nervous and full of anxiety. I'm gonna pop and edible and try to get myself back under control. Maybe a hot bubble-bath is in order.

Spa day - bubble bath, face cleanse, favorite wax in the wax melter, favorite creamer in the coffee, and being supervised to make sure I’m ok. Don’t forget to take time for yourself - to ease your physical and emotional needs.
