This is one of the most amazing events in American history and everyone should know about it.

Today is one of my favorite days! We saw some great presentations about mass casualties, the process of identifying unknown human remains, and signifiers of elder abuse. Lunch at the little Brazillian café down the street was a bonus.

Reading in bed with cats on a Sunday morning book recommendation: If you love Kafka and Borges, try some Dino Buzzati. His short stories are delightful little capsules of satire, absurdity, and surrealism. The End of the World and The Saucer Has Landed are my favorites so far!
