Finally played some Age of Sigmar - had my army painted for something like 7 years and this was my first game. It's really good fun, essentially just stripping out three of the worst bits about 40k - the terrain rules, getting shot off the board and having to ask opponents their rules constantly.

Tried out the Grotmas Plague Legion detachment recently, fantastic - the most fun I've had with my nurgle daemons

Got my first game of AoS today, what's the best way to very quickly learn the rules? I know 40k, I understand about concepts like charging. I'm interested in how the game works. Like how 40k is a game all about hiding behind ruins

As someone who doesn't play AoS but has a Slaves to Darkness army, I swear it seems like they get new rules every couple of months

Some people like to post photos of their minis where you can see the paintjob clearly, I'm not really into that

This is one of my favourite models, a converted Skarbrand, based on the excellent FW sculpt

This place needs to be nurgled up a bit
