#SeptemberWorldbuilders Day 30 I like non-traditional races & groups in fantasy, as well as Found Family and Friends-to-Lovers romances. I'm a huge sap for wholesome stuff like that.

#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 30 Sadly, no sales for my birthday month. However, I've made progress on edits for Ballad's End & have even started working on another new WIP: #Fateweaver is shaping up to be a jazzy mix of adventure & humor, wrapped up in my own Nixtralian flair!

Kai is an apothecary (Nixtral’s equivalent to a doctor), specializing in the identification & treatment of poisons. This actually has plot relevance as his skills are a huge factor in both keeping his party members alive & finding/exploiting the chinks in the villains’ defenses.

#SeptemberWorldbuilders Day 29 Recently got an awesome deal on the Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 Final ReMIX (got it for $15.99 on the Nintendo eShop), so I've been playing that alongside Octopath Traveler 2. I've been having a lot of fun with both!

At least in Livoria, most professional trades have an official guild. In order to gain an apprenticeship, one needs both a reference & a sponsor, who is often the same person. Kai was an oddity as his reference & sponsor were different people due to hangups w/ the guildmaster of the time.
