Huge news! OptiFine's banner patterns have been updated to support the 1.12+ colours, and the new patterns. We also have added 6 new custom patterns and 32 new colours, leaving a total of 48 colours. The banner limit has also been increased, supporting 16 layers.

I just wanted to mention that this Minecraft update (1.21.2) for OptiFine shouldn't take too long, like the previous updates has. The developer, sp614x, started working on this update on a snapshot, and is currently working on a pre release.

I am iris (LoudIris on Twitter) and I have managed the OptiFineNews account for a while, I am also an admin for the OptiFine Discord. This account was mostly made to claim the name. I may end up posting updates here as I would on Twitter, I'm not sure yet.
