Selection of drawings from the Drink & Draw marathon life drawing session. I'm happy to see the long rest hasn't completely eroded the ability to draw, but it also takes a long time to fire up the machine that makes art again. By the 6th hour some kind of confidence was back in the wrist again.

Something beautiful and honest.

I continue work on the foundational brush set. On the image is the brush tip, demo stroke and 2 figure studies with the brush. The shape gives good calligraphy and expressive range. Clean round end blocks in volume and value, the sharp fuzzy end gives fine precision, texture and edge control.
