My thought: Illegal or not… the “detained” should be given AT LEAST the same rights and care as we give our prisoners. I use those big cheap sandpaper nail files to file off my feet calluses. It makes a mess, but it works great.

Normally I have a problem with going to bed by 3am. 😬 Last night I was super sleepy a bit after midnight, went to bed, and fell fast asleep… just to be woken up about 4am because of loud noises in the neighborhood. I couldn’t go back to sleep afterwards. Sigh. I can’t win.

I’d love to tell these people that I’m the janitor. I’m not a doorman, your mom, your buddy to ask for a favor, and absolutely, definitely not maintenance or repair person. I’ll mop up the dozen leaks, but it’s not my job to dump the buckets when they fill up.

The only medical doctors in my location are in the hospitals. I hate that.
