I wish our country would prioritize children’s safety from gun violence. We still can’t get ahold of the gun violence problem due to nobody wanting to support sensible gun reform. I grew up not having to worry about gun violence. I feel sorry for our nations kids today. They have to worry about it.☹️

Wait until measles issues in the brain raises its head years later & causes kids to be permanently disabled or worse. Polio crippling or can’t breathe on their own needing ventilator use? Kids youth stolen by preventable downstream illness effects. Parents are risking their kids’ health. 🤦‍♀️

I went to the grocery store to get some ground beef. 73 % was 6.99 a pound, 85% was 7.99 per pound for the store brand. The 90% price jumped to 9.49 per pound for the store brand. If I wanted organic or grass fed beef, let’s just say the price was worse. Guess they don’t want us buying beef..

That is straight up classism with what they are doing in Dayton. Most families where both parents work to make ends meet and live pay check to pay check, send their kids to public schools. Most kids in private school tend to come from well to do families- unless a kid got a scholarship.

This seriously angers parents & rightfully so. Consider sending a copy of the bill to your elected representatives & call them to inform them of the problem & you want their help to resolve it. Reps need to know what school districts are doing & constituents can’t absorb such a large education bill.

Canadians did a pilot study where they offered the unhoused a short term financial assistance( ~1 year) to help them secure housing & also offered job training/counseling so they could find better employment. The results were pretty positive helping to get most back on their feet, just like Finland.

It is her right to ask for a woman in the room if that is what she wants & help regarding any medical exam. There are crisis response teams comprised of mostly women who can help with survivors needs.There should have been a female nurse there to stay with the survivor & the men leave the room.🤷‍♀️

I spoke to the reptile vet this week & he said my big turtle was coming down off her egg making hormones. it takes close to 2 weeks for her to settle down after laying eggs and her regular behaviors return. She is eating well now and suns herself. She’s much better. I’m a relieved turtle mom. 😊🐢❤️
