My post-mortem on The Mandalorian and Grogu: It's a fun movie with many things to appreciate. It's strangely inconsequential in the Star Wars world. Nothing of canon significance happens in it. Even Solo injected the robot revolution (a concept they should play with more), and Maul post-PT.

I've seen The Mandalorian and Grogu. I'm one of the people who thinks the TV show is way overhyped. I went into the movie with low expectations knowing the 2nd half was supposedly the weak part and YOU LOT ARE INSANE. THIS MOVIE WAS FUN. And the "weak" 2nd half is the best stuff.

Got tickets for Friday's showing of the Grogu movie. I know everyone is waiting to hear what I think. And I can safely predict that I will still feel the exact same way about The Mandalorian as I have felt since episode 1 of season 1: Mandalorians are the DULLEST thing in Star Wars. But it's fine.
