You don’t need to explain or justify your journey to being affirming. The Gospel is good news for everyone—not just those who fit a narrow mold. Jesus never turned queer people away. Why should the Church?

If your theology leads you to shame, exile, or erase queer people, it’s time to revisit your theology. The fruit of the Spirit is love—not exclusion. You can follow Jesus and fully affirm LGBTQ+ people. In fact, you should.

The Bible has been weaponized against women, Black people, and now LGBTQ+ folks. But the Spirit has always moved beyond those boundaries. You’re allowed to rethink what you were taught. That’s not rebellion—it’s faithfulness.

Being LGBTQ+ affirming doesn’t mean you’ve compromised your faith. It means you’ve deepened it—by refusing to let bad interpretations of the Bible override the command to love well. You’re not backsliding. You’re growing.

You’re not “abandoning the Bible” by being affirming. You’re actually taking it seriously—by centering love, justice, and the lived experiences of real people. Jesus never asked you to choose between your faith and loving your queer neighbor.

If your Christianity requires borders, guns, and political supremacy to survive, it’s not the way of Jesus—it’s the way of empire. Christian Nationalism is a counterfeit gospel. We’re here to expose it.

Jesus didn’t come to build a Christian nation. He came to build a kingdom not of this world. Christian Nationalism tries to force power through coercion instead of what Jesus actually taught: love.

Christian Nationalism isn’t just bad theology—it’s a political power grab wrapped in Bible verses. It replaces the teachings of Jesus with the idol of the empire. We’re not called to dominate. We’re called to love.

There’s nothing beautiful about betraying the poor, turning our backs on the stranger, and abandoning the sick. Jesus said, “Whatever you do to the least of these…” And we just did the opposite.
