Mipha has a royal knight trained in Zora's Domain as her personal guard (LINK‼️), and Zelda's knight is Impa. When it comes time to pick the champions, Mipha's connection with Ruta is clear but she faces a lot of push back against her piloting and someone else is chosen :') That's all I got haha

Mipha and Zelda grow up as sisters (I'm headcanoning that Zora growth is relatively similar to a Hylian's until they reach maturity, where it slows), training together and only being apart when Mipha goes back to the Domain to see her family.

After months of wrestling with the Zora people, he's finally given permission to whisk Mipha away to Hyrule Castle to live and train with Zelda, with the hope that one of them (or both) will awaken sealing powers.

When he arrives in Zora's Domain, he learns that Princess Mipha, while young, is growing to be very proficient in magic- magical magic that could seal Ganon, or at least aid in it.

She's only seven, of course, but when King Rhoam catches wind of the princess of the Zora showing prowess over magic at a young age, he can't help but investigate.

The signs of the Calamity are clear- All of Hyrule is on edge as Calamity Ganon is prophesised to rise within the next twenty years, and young princess Zelda hasn't shown any sign of awakening her powers.

AU idea: Mipha has the sealing powers instead of Zelda (see the thread I guess it's long 😭)
