Went out on the fields at the back of my house last night to try getting a photo of the beautiful moon

@rufuslynx.bsky.social and I went to the Drapers Arms yesterday to try the Outlaw Street Food Barbecue platter. It was huge! We didn't finish it and brought about half of it back in boxes.

I had my ADHD assessment at the start of the week. The psychologist identified ADHD traits from childhood that appear to be masked by autistic traits in adulthood. I still need another assessment to profile my autism, but it’s pretty clear that I’m AuDHD.

Earlier this year I said goodbye to my Nanny Joyce, my last surviving grandparent and matriarch of our family, at age 103. Her beautiful service reminded me how she always strayed true to her values and sense of integrity. That's something I'll always admire. Rest in peace, Nan

Earlier this year I had a bit of a cancer scare when I had an abnormal mole removed from my back. It turned out to be early-stage malignant melanoma. After two procedures I've thankfully been given the all clear.

I haven't posted much on here lately, so I'm going to share a few updates over the course of today about what's been happening in my life.

First time I've ever made the effort to platinum a game. Absolutely worth it and highly recommend playing it

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been out since 24th April 2025, so hopefully we're past the no spoiler window. Finally beat him with the immortal Verso with Angel's Eyes and shielded Maelle with Stendhal on reserve team. And yes, that time stamp correct. Judge me, haha!

Finished my first competition. Did a snatch at 60 and clean&jerk at 80. Total of 140. So new personal best and done at comp level. Didn't win anything but was a great experience. youtu.be/GNvBRzSNSVI?...

Paid for my Confuzzled the Musical attendance next year. Wasn't successful in the resident lottery, but I've got a back up hotel sorted nearby. Still on the waiting list just in case a room becomes available, but at least everything's sorted now.

I'm not sure how I feel about this festive flavour, though you never know until you try it

I visited the new Dice & Destiny store last weekend for their opening. It's really impressive with much more shelf space, plenty of event areas and even a kitchen. I highly recommend checking them out if you get the chance.

I've played Destiny 1 & 2 since the first game back in 2014. I decided once the Light & Dark Saga finishes with the Final Shape expansion and the epilogue seasonal episodes I would quit the game. When the Edge of Fate expansion arrived, I uninstalled the game without any regret.

I've been doing CBT webinars with Kent & Medway NHS Talking Therapies for a few weeks now to help my anxiety. I learned that I'd already started using many of the methods myself, which gives me confidence that I'm on the right path to improving my wellbeing.
