WELL HERE IT IS… my latest wax (encaustic) painting : “The Spider Grandmother.” She is a prominent figure in Native American mythology, among the Hopi and Navajo populations . Shes a creator goddess, teacher, and protector, and embodies the art of weaving, symbolizing the interconnectedness of life.

Hey everyone! Happy Friday here is my newest Sculpture that I decided to glaze and fire and this is the final result. My first ever animal sculpture. I used an underglaze pencil for his eyes. This one’s titled: “ The Alpha” I’m pretty excited that it turned out so good. #rachelsantel

Here it is, my first encaustic painting of Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, titled “Lakshmi’s Emergence from the Samudra Manthana.” This legend tells of gods and demons churning the ocean of milk to obtain the nectar of immortality. During this, Lakshmi and other celestial beings emerged from the sea.

WELL… this is my first attempt at a clay animal sculpture I’m titling it: “ THE ALPHA” . I hope I did this wolf justice . lol I’m pretty happy with how it came out and have decided to do more, so stay tuned. #rachelsantel
