My wife and I just decided we’re going to do family Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow instead of today. For which i am thankful because now I can devote full attention today to mentally preparing for the Bluejays game. By watching football.

I am very thankful on this Canadian Thanksgiving weekend to not be driving anywhere.

Looking forward to the battle of the 1977 Expansion teams for the AL pennant. But looking MORE forward to the Blue Jays winning!

Our 11 year old daughter is currently in the pool for her Olympium team’s annual swim-a-thon fundraiser. I’m happy she’s a very strong swim er. And nervous because i sponsored her per lap.

I just overheard our 10 year old daughter saying to our 5 year old daughter “I don’t let anyone touch my ukulele unless they have underwear on”. Reasonable life rule I think.

Based on the success of Taylor Swift’s album release at midnight this morning at select Target stores, i’ll be releasing my next comedy album at 2am in select Canadian Tire auto centres.

Sadly I didn’t have time on a trip up to Collingwood this week to “learn to throw” an axe, while hammered, with my children.

Today’s office doesn’t suck.

Had a helluva time at beautiful Confederation Centre in Charlottetown recording The Debaters last night. The comics were hilarious, the crowd laughed in all the right spots (and some of the wrong ones). There were also Americans whom I instructed to laugh 35% harder. They complied peacefully.

I’m in Charlottetown PEI where the big news is the upcoming Shellfish Festival and Cinnamon Roll Challenge. Honestly, pretty great.

Thanks so much to all who filled the magnificent Imperial theatre in Saint John last night for our taping of The Debaters! The comics were funny. The crowd was great. And,unlike a Coldplay concert, everyone seemed to be there with someone they were supposed to be with. Next stop: Charlottetown!

Arrived in Saint John for taping of The Debaters tonight at the majestic Imperial theatre. There’s a nice library downtown and a cafe whose name our writers would certainly approve of. Looking forward to laughing with my funny comedian friends and the good people of New Brunswick tonight!

Our 11 year old daughter came home from first week of school ECSTATIC that the teacher gave her some extra homework to do because she finished the mandatory work before everyone else n her class. . I’m very proud and also wondering if i should order a DNA test to make sure she’s really mine.

After watching some of the Kennedy Senate hearing I think the only thing that can save the U.S/possibly the world is if he unzips his face and it’s been Larry David the whole time.

Just explained to our 6 year old going into grade one that there is no “nap time” during the day. I believe she will start a petition to change this today.

You know your daughter had a good birthday when it takes you 3 days to post photos. Our oldest daughter turned 11 on Friday and we celebrated for the whole weekend. It’s ALMOST enough for her to not be mad that school starts tomorrow morning. I love this kid to the top of CN tower and back.

Took my daughters to a movie yesterday because cineplex had $5 admission special. But snacks and pop still cost over $40. So… you win THIS round Cineplex.

I tuned into the Blue Jays game with the score tied 1-1, Hoffman coming into pitch. Parked car in garage, walked into house, tuned into game on tv, and it was 3-1 Brewers.

“No you girls just go ahead. I’ll turn off very light in the goddamn house” ~ Me, to myself, after my wife and daughters have left the house after turning on every light.

“I’ll just leave these to soak for a while” ~ Every husband at his conclusion of doing the dishes.
