Today is 8 days from Christmas! And our dog Ferris’ 5th birthday! And I like giant sleds made from Lego. And salt and pepper shakers share my initials. SCENE.

Just overheard parents in my daughter’s gymnastics class talk about how quick they can get through Christmas dinners and get relatives out over the holidays. At that point just don’t DO dinner with relatives. They’re probably rushing thru dinner to get away from those arseholes anyway. Good talk.

Back home after 10 days on the road. Thought my dog missed me but he just missed having access to this couch in my office (one of his eight favourite places to nap)

One of the weird things about reintegrating into Eastern Standard Time after 2 weeks in mountain/pacific time is eating lunch at what your body thinks is 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning. But I’m proud to say, it’s one of my top life skills.

Thanks to all who filled the theatre in Surrey BC for Debaters Live last night! It was a Monday night but had the energy of at LEAST a Thursday afternoon. Headed to Vancouver island now on our exclusive yacht (BC Ferries) for shows in Nanaimo and Victoria!

Reading this to my daughter last night I realized I’m now a year older than the Grinch was when he stole Christmas. Going to make an extra effort to not steal everyone in my neighbourhood’s gifts this year.

I’m in a “Michael’s” store with my wife and daughters. In case anyone out there is a rescue mission operator.

If anyone needs me i’ll be yelling “why is every light in the goddamn house left on!?” to my empty house that my wife and daughters left for the day hours ago while my dad loudly chuckles from heaven.

I’m not an expert, but l do support giving employees good quality air while working…
