Just watched A Christmas Carol (1938) Its a far more jolly take, cutting out many of the ghostly horror elements that I love about the story but I still enjoyed it with a large smile on my face. Its only and 1hr 10mins so the pacing was surprisingly crisp for such an old film. Definitely recommend!
