Added new collision tiles to my #GBStudio project that are used for... everything but collisions. Now I can easily paint where the dynamic light around the player shouldn't change tile attributes and will keep the same palette... so same lighting.

Awesomesauce! Big changes. better performance, some new tricks that allows me to use just 2 palettes for the lighting instead of 3. That gives me some freedom! #GBStudio #Gameboy

Much nicer code and works well. Easy to change the radius, follows the player... and because of the full updates on movement, it still causes massive stuttering but it's an easy fix. I think I prefer this over drawing black tiles. #GBStudio #GameBoy #GBDK

This is something I want to recreate in #GBStudio. Of course by default, it's not possible but with some plugin, it could be. The tricky parts are: -Storing the tiles / palettes -Drawing black tiles in a circle -Restoring original tiles -Do it efficiently. Can't do it all in one frame.

Still working on this #Amnesia - The Dark Descent Demake. Learnt a lot about #GBStudio in the process. Having lots of fun with it, but also at a point where writing some plugin would be useful for certain things. ALSO! Working on another project with my bestie, planning, brainstorming a lot.

Does anyone know good resources on #GBStudio plugin development? I'm legit confused how they make plugins. I kinda get it but only things they wrote. And further confusion is when they JS file calls the C code differently and... many other things.

#CachyOS installed! So far, loving it! Using it with KDE Plasma. Winslop customization is ridiculously limited compared to this. Also butter smooth, nice looking system. I have a lot to test for sure. Windows is many steps behind in some features. It's up to the devs to support #Linux.
