I don’t get the complaining about the ADP stat in Dark Souls 2; firstly, it doesn’t make sense that every single character is just as good at dodging without armor on from an RPG perspective; secondly, all of the stats are arcane and confusing so who cares if another one gets added to the mix

I underestimated how long and annoying it was going to be to access the DLC in Dark Souls 1. I think I might actually like Dark Souls 2 more at this point. But I still need to do the DS2 DLC after this, so that could easily change.

Got through Ornstein and Smough on my Dark Souls NG+ run. There is sooooo much kiting them around, baiting them to attack, dodging and just waiting for the RNG gods to provide an opening. I’m really not a fan.

Kicking off the spooky season with 28 Years Later since it got added to Netflix. Honestly, I really liked how weird and crazy it got. The first half felt more generic, like it could have been an episode of the Walking Dead. I think that’s what people wanted from it and why they complained :/

Replaying Dark Souls 1 now on NG+ and man, IDK. Combat is so slow and janky. I don’t really find the level design THAT compelling. Really just wanna get to the DLC and get it over with and then I don’t see myself revisiting this the way I would DS3 or Elden Ring.
