I’m gonna stop talking about the AI situation for now. I think I made all my thoughts pretty clear by now and it’s too stressful to deal with. It seems Neowiz has responded and that the AI “creator” application is for a different game which…. is also not a good thing? Like I’m glad that AI isn’t going to be used for the sequel but I rather not have them use AI at all for any project.

To say I am disappointed by the news of an AI job posting with Round8 for LoP2 is a major understatement. However, let it be said that this is some corpo decision. Do not be angry at the actual creatives who made the game we love. Be vocal but polite that you do not stand with AI. #liesofp

It feels needless to say but I’m saying it anyways due to the situation. Support real artists, there are so many talented artists, writers or other creative types in this fandom that deserve all the support for the things they create.

Incredibly disappointed to hear about Round8 wanting to hire AI “artists”. I cannot understand how time and time again companies get rightful backlash for using AI yet more still think it’s a good idea to implement it in their games. Pure laziness just to not work with real artists.
