Just got back from watching the new Knives Out movie! Amazing! It DEFINITELY surpasses Glass Onion for me and might even top the first. I thought the lead character was so compelling and the whole catholic-core aesthetic fit the murder mystery EXTREMELY well!

Metroid Prime might have my fav intro to a game ever lol. Even though it's linear and different from the rest of the game, 99% of the reason I ALWAYS immediately boot up a new save when I beat that game is to play the prologue lol. I get SO giddy when the ship comes flying in w Samus' theme.

I think one of my fav part abt Air Riders is because of the aggressive slipstream mechanics, I feel like everyone is always close together and that races really are decided up to the last few seconds. Makes for some hype and also absolutely infuriating moments lolll.

Metroid Prime has always had amazing OSTs, but it is sickening how good the few tracks we've heard from Prime 4 are. Especially the opening track like genuinely might be my fav Metroid Prime theme period. A very nice contrast to Dread which imo has kinda forgettable music.

Since he was snubbed at The Game Awards, I wanted to say that Tommie Earl Jenkins is genuinely phenomenal in Death Stranding 2! His character had such a memorable entrance and just had SO much more personality than the first game. He honestly blew me away and I came out of the game w him as my fav!

My 2 cents for the Metroid Prime 4 discourse is that legitimately my favorite thing abt the games 2D and 3D is how little they retread old ground in terms of structure and how unique they feel within their own series. I'll always welcome the series trying new things, even if they don't always hit.

I genuinely cannot fathom the sheer amount of content and extra modes Kirby Air Riders has lol. Like they want you to REALLY sink some hours in this game lol. It's kind of crazy too because I feel like Smash has become very streamlined, but this is going all out with silly mechanics and modes.

I'm really loving Legends Z-A and I really hope the next mainline titles make a genuine effort to bring in the fluid gameplay the Legends series has. Scarlet and Violet imo felt like a weird half step that ended up feeling awkward, which I understand since S/V were made concurrently with Arceus.

Finally finished Act 2 of Expedition 33 after dragging my feet for so long! This game's story bosses are genuinely so amazing! Super cinematic and super grand and the music is insane!!!! Excited to finish the main story!!!

As someone who considered Streets of Rage 4 their fav beat em' up seeing one of those devs go on to make a fucking amazing Shinobi reboot and the other dev go on to make a phenomenal original beat em up roguelite is honestly such a dream come true. What a powerful duo.
