I tagged this photo as graphic just in case but I’ve covered 90% of the incision with the heart. Our good boi is adjusting to this major change very well 🥺 I so deeply admire how resilient our fur babies are.

Got official word from the vet that surgically everything went really well 🥹 They want to observe him for a few hours as he comes off the anesthesia but we’ll be able to bring him home tonight ❤️ In a few weeks if his healing looks good then he’ll be starting his first round of chemo.

Dropped off for surgery. Hopefully I’ll have some good news to share later today 🥺🙏

Please send Fox all of the positive healing vibes 🙏🏼 We recently learned he has bone cancer and he’s scheduled for surgery tomorrow to amputate the affected leg. It’s scary but it’s also the best pain management option and the standard of care of these types of cancers in dogs.

Sonflower’s first word that isn’t mama/papa is . . . eat 🥹

Poor Fox tore his CCL on Sunday and we opted to have him undergo surgery to stabilize his knee. He’s doing well, all things considered, and seems to be tolerating his meds and situation. Happy he is home now to cuddle and recover 🥹❤️

Physically sick to my stomach. Emotionally exhausted. My heart aches. And . . . I’m completely unsurprised. I wish the electorate didn’t have the memory of a fruit fly. How utterly disappointing.
