What a fantastic art and film session we had for Refugee Week last week 🤩 Thanks to St Luke's for the incredible space, Eastern Oven for the food, Leeds Uni for the art supplies and Leeds International Film Festival for support! A true showcase of community coming together 🧡

Last week, our dedicated volunteer and incredible artist Salman curated an exhibition and art workshop for both clients and supporters 🙌 'Between Two Worlds' showcased the refugee experience through a creative and artistic lens, and allowed those with lived experience to freely express themselves 🎨

A wonderful time was had last week as our Welcome to Leeds volunteers supported agriculture at Kirkstall Valley Farm 🧅🥔 Our asylum seeker clients are happy to get their hands dirty, and stuck into vegetable growing at a local farm to learn more about agriculture in our community 🧑‍🌾
