Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, 'finished' F1 2002 the other week. 🚗 This is quite extensive for a sim racing game but I found it boring, I'm completely disinterested in F1 and racing. The races themselves were trivial because there was no penalty for going off-track.

Took a hiatus from my 100% GameCube challenge to finish a Mario Party DS playthrough I started a while back, takes a lot of grinding but I got there. 🥺 One of the collectibles requires you to get 50+ stars in a single game of DK's board.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished SSX Tricky this morning. 🥇 This had fantastic vibes and great controls but the level designs weren't very good. This took so long since it required 12 playthroughs, it also crashed at least 5 times.😩 "IT'S TRICKY, IT'S TRICKY!".

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished RedCard two weeks ago. ⚽ The controls were extremely unclear and the CPUs were brutal. Once I figured out the controls it was... okay, admittedly a bit better than some of the previous football games! 🤔

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished SpyHunter a few weeks ago. 🚁 This game had a lot of potential, it was mostly held back by the choppy frame rate and 'clusterfuck-like' level designs. It was nevertheless still fun, quite a unique experience! 😁

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire last week. 🔫 To my surprise, this had really good mechanics and fun map designs. The only thing letting this down is the shortage of levels, but it's still a game I'd recommend to people. 🥺

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Spider-Man last week. 🕷 This game was... meh, alright? The platforming was fun but the level designs weren't very good (this became very apparent on Hero difficulty). 🤔 I beat the game with both Spider-Man and Green Goblin.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Legends of Wrestling last month. 🤼‍♂️ The controls felt stiff and the gameplay was quite repetitive, it's by no means a fantastic game but it was genuinely better than I was expecting. They clearly put real effort into making this. 🥺

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, 'finished' Jeremy McGrath SuperCross World on Friday. 🏍 I say 'finished' because the mechanics are literally broken and this makes Freestyle mode impossible to beat, so 100% simply isn't possible. They definitely didn't play test this. 😂

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker on Thursday. 🚚 The parking mode was very fun but sadly there were just 6 levels, the arcade mode was okay but generally quite repetitive. This game had a lot of potential that was simply lost... 😭

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Virtua Striker 3 ver. 2002 last month. ⚽ This was okay, the management mode was quite charming even though I couldn't understand the training mechanics. I definitely enjoyed this more than the prior two football games.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Pikmin just over a week ago. 🌿 This wasn't the next game, by release date, but Melee requires a Pikmin save file so I brought it forward. I always have fun with this even if it's my least favourite in the series. 🥺

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished NBA Courtside 2002 last week. 🥺 Like most sports games I found this impossible to control, but the game was otherwise fine and had lovely visuals. There didn't seem to be anything unlockable so the playthrough was very short. 😁

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Dark Summit earlier this week. The level design in this was insane, literally snowboarding over mines, electric gates and pits of toxic waste. 😱 There sadly wasn't anything to do after finishing the main mode, aside from NG+. 🤔

I've returned to my GameCube 100% challenge with The Simpsons Road Rage. 🥺 This was fun, I think that the choice of cars and the progressive nature of the main mode made it better than Crazy Taxi. The excessive grinding required to beat the game was quite tedious.

The Korok grind for my 100% playthrough of TOTK is now finished! 🥳 It took 5 months and over 200 hours, but it's finally done. 🥺 Managed to find 998/1000 without a guide, the last two were missed while exploring. Loved the experience, but I'm glad it's over. 🌿

Update on my 100% playthrough of TOTK, now finished 13/15 regions. 🎉 Took a bit of a hiatus in March due to work and IRL commitments, aiming to have the Korok grind done by the end of May. 🌿 Only Zora's Domain, Death Mountain, Hyrule Castle and the sky islands remain.

Started an 100% playthrough of TOTK, aiming to get as many collectibles as I can without a guide. Here I am zig zagging the land looking for Koroks. Doing it one region at a time makes it easier, both practically and mentally. 😱 Did this with BOTW so I'm used to the experience.
