That’s me in the corner
pinned post!
Given the whole new start on the new platform, I thought I might try and start doing an ongoing music thing, almost an opposite of a deep dive, which I’m going to call
#7days7songs
- a quick splash into a different artist each week. Sometimes I might have a bit to say, sometimes I probably won’t.

Well in United. Really fun second half. A lot of handbag clutching about the handball, a lot more than had it been given the other way.

Australia are basically the kid who left your primary school but didn’t make any new mates and you have to keep inviting them back because you feel sorry for them having no one to play with

This can’t be right? United won the league in 2011 and 2013 and I thought it was pretty clear that the player of the year simply must be from the team that wins the league. 🤔

Having intended to read it for years, finally got round to reading The Rotters Club (blitzed all but the last 50 pages in a few days). Very good and interesting to read a book set in the 70s and written 25 years ago that rhymes true with how politics in the uk has been over the past decade.

Pathetic stuff from city re the youth cup final. Undoubtedly would have been better development for their u18s to play at a full stadium (either Etihad or Old Trafford) and that should’ve been the prime consideration. Embarrassing decision.

Ridiculously inappropriate and misleading header in the telegraph. Article starts with ‘a small group of Manchester United fans were filmed singing offensive songs…’. You’ll always get some dickheads. Reporting it like that would make people assume it was the United crowd en masse. Dicks.

Stoppage time goals against Everton in their past 3 league games. They’d have been 3 points off Liverpool had they not conceded those goals.

I’m with Clarence Seedorf to be honest - deeply unimpressed with the defending!! Fun to watch but not having them as serious football teams if you’re conceding 4 and 5 in a champions league semi!

Nice quirk of the fixture list - Every team that spurs have to still play in the league this season has been top flight champions more times than they have (Spurs - 2, Wolves - 3, Villa - 7, Leeds - 3, Chelsea - 6, Everton - 9)

Utd unbeaten in Dalot’s last 13 PL starts & lost only 2 of last 25 Lost 4 of last 6 he didn’t start including - Heaviest loss of season at City - Loss at home to 10 man Everton - Loss away to 10 man Newcastle - Loss at home to Leeds

Chelsea are (and have been nearly all season) shit. There’s a chance they finish bottom half too I reckon given how tight the table is and the games they have left (and the fact the players and fans clearly hate briefcase).

Obvious special mentions to Heaven and Mainoo but also to Mazraoui (who I thought was the worst of a bad bunch v Leeds) and Dalot who (for all we take the piss for his endless high fives) brings much needed desire in defence

It doesn’t matter because United didn’t deserve anything after the first half but there’s a difference between violent conduct and pulling someone’s hair in the way that Martinez did. If the ref sees it there’s an argument that it should be yellow for unsportsmanlike behaviour but red is nonsense.

I thought Leeds might be the team to drop but you’d think that’ll be enough for them if they get 4 points from Wolves and Burnley. United awful first half and just caught completely flat footed. Better second half but fucked by the red card.

We said goodbye to George today. 21/11/2013 - 18/03/2026. He lived up to his namesake, he was the best. We will miss him so much. So long Mr Pooch. 🖤
