Once again, come hear our FREE 50th Annual Holiday Concert, Sunday, 12/14 at 1pm at the Recital Hall in UNO’s Performing Arts Center! Here’s the lineup of songs on the program. We’ve covered a few here. Come hear the rest! If you can, bring a non-perishable food donation for local food banks.

Another tune on the program is a rare replay from last year’s concert. Russian Christmas Music storms into the hall and demands to be heard! 😉

So, what else do we usually play at our Holiday Concerts? Medleys, Medleys, MEDLEYS!!! You like a holiday tune, chances are you’ll hear it between these three. 😉

What else is on the program Sunday, 12/14 at 1pm? It’s just a basic song called Major Van Orden March.

Next reveal for our 50th annual holiday concert, selections from Leonard Bernstein’s tour de force, Mass. Premiered in 1971 at the Kennedy Center, the medley of songs springs from Bernstein’s interpretation of the Tridentine Mass of the Catholic Church.

First up on the erratic highlights of our Sunday 12/14 Concert, the warhorse of our 50 years of holiday concerts, Leroy Anderson’s Christmas Festival! The story goes Arthur Fiedler asked Anderson to come up with something for the Boston Pops Christmas album in 1950.
