Re-watched "Date With An Angel". It's a sweet little movie. One of the cutest, prettiest actresses of the 80s did her resolute best to look like a mess. Adorable.

Re-watched "Bill and Ted Face the Music". If some of the time/space switches had been permanent, the ending might have made sense. As it is, I was re-disappointed that Bill and Ted did not directly make a song to unite and inspire all humanity. Doubly-so that they didn't do it in real life.

I have been seeing commercials about new Genesis brand vehicles. The company is missing a golden opportunity. They need to bring Christopher Lloyd to their commercials, in full Klingon make-up and have him yell "Give me Genesis!!!"

Blender Python sure seems rather non-pythonic at times. I need to find more tutorials about making stuff with Python in Blender. The most popular stuff seems pretty basic, surface-level information.

Edgar Allen Poe day for some reason. Watched both "The Masque of the Red Death" (1964) and "The Fall of the House of Usher" (1960). I love the vibrant colors in "The Masque of the Red Death". "The Fall of the House of Usher" was just a natural follow-up.

I watched the two episodes of Batman: The Animated Series featuring Mr. Freeze, and the first led directly into the second, which led directly into the Batman: Subzero movie. Perfection. I highly recommend watching that unorthodox series that builds to make a bigger, better movie.

Watched "Vivarium". Very interesting. Left some questions unanswered. It reminds me of the "Infinite Ikea" urban legend/fictional anomaly.

The president of the USA is trying to fire someone for actions that look bad. I wonder if he prefers to be the pot or the kettle.

Finally watched "Robot Jox" for the first time. It was a little more nuanced than I expected, and was very fun.

Watched Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and was completely mezmerized. Very fun. Two curiously-long mustaches up!

"Prisoners of the Ghostland" is a Mad-Maxian fever dream. I may never recover....

The local library will be showing a movie this weekend. Very nice.

After a tough week, unwound with a Rifftrax double feature of "Ghosthouse" and "Grizzly" on Tubi. Classics if there ever was one.

After seeing the "Nobody 2" trailer last night, I rewatched the first "Nobody". What a joyous movie!

I just finished watching "Wicked". It felt like "Harry Potter: The Musical", but wasn't as interesting. It's not in my top 5 musicals. 1. Little Shop of Horrors (1986) 2. Anna and the Apocalypse 3. Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory 4. The Wizard of Oz (1939) 5. West Side Story (1961)

Watched The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave. What a spectacle! I enjoyed seeing him again.

Watched "Please Don't Feed the Children". It was pretty good. Mildly predictable, but fun.

Started watching MST3K's treatment of "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank". Wonderful comedy. "Bring me ham!"

Watched Split Second with Rutger Hauer for the first time. Everybody gets a minigun!

"Dark City" has such a cool style. I wish stylish noir movies would be more popular. Would it help if I called them Gothic Movies?

Watched "The Menu." It lived up to the good things people have been writing about it. It may be a bit too smart for me. However, it was interesting and kept me riveted!

I hope you were able to watch some form of Ghostbusters today, on Ghostbusters Day. Me, myself, I watched Frozen Empire again.

Great news! The Frank Capra classic "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" has reached Tubi. There has never been a better time to watch it. Or any Capra classic, really.

Watched ParaNorman for the first time. Very fun movie. I loved the bit with the vending machine!

I watched "Machete Kills". Such a fantastic, over-the-top movie. A real popcorn-muncher. I'm ready for them to release "Machete Kills... Again!" any day now. Yep.... Any day now....

Time for "Svengoolie" to host "Village of the Damned". Good stuff. Later, the Sven Squad will host "Day of the Dead". I'm looking forward to seeing how much of the movie they will be able to show on broadcast TV.

I'm wondering where I can join a Blender Python scripting group. It would be pretty exclusive.

I watched a little Star Trek V on PlutoTV. I wouldn't mind a whole movie where half the crew is camping out while the other half is building a ship from parts. I love the beginning of that movie.

Unable to watch Batman Returns on its anniversary. Got to rewatch Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil. Good times.

"Little Shop of Horrors" (1985) kept popping up, so I watched it. It's a delight. And I finally got around to rewatching Ghostbusters: Afterlife for the long-passed Ghostbusters anniversary date. Better late than never! I should rewatch Batman Returns for its anniversary tomorrow.

Watched Color Out Of Space. It was delightfully creepy. It stands tall among the best Lovecraftian films.

I'm looking forward to the release of "Stranger Things" season 5, if only to see how much the complete set of 5 seasons will be altogether. Any plans for a fun package set theme? I wonder....

I enjoyed the live cast of the BrickLinks 8th Series Lego finalist announcement. I was a little disappointed that there were not a lot of spaceship builds on the scene.

I hope any parade marchers will remember to limp on the path, in order to honor the Bone-Spurs-In-Chief.

PlutoTV has Explorers (1985). Very cool movie with a great orchestral soundtrack. And Robert Picardo. And just enough Dick Miller. And it's just absolutely great.

I watched the '66 Batman episode on MeTV titled "Joker's Wild", and then almost immediately watched Batman The Animated Series' episode with the same title shortly thereafter. Excellent double feature!

Watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on PlutoTV. I can mark that off my list. (Recently, the Last Crusade's release anniversary occurred, and I try to watch good movies on or around their anniversary.) Fantastic.

Star Trek 6 was playing on PlutoTV tonight. I am most pleased.

Okay, made a little bit of progress in exploring Blender Materials. I now have more than 3 nodes in the material tree. I now have a 4th node. A wave node feeding into a displacement node that feeds into the core node, which of course feeds into the output node. Whee. Fun.
