Here is a different yap than usual, chat. More of a general update on why things have been slow, and a self motivating yap to hype myself up (you can skim through it if you want, it’s just talking about my progress on Locked Spirits: Sweet Dreams and my wishes into next year)

It’s finally December! (Ignore that it’s been multiple days in December) I drew a lil holiday Cat Excell for the occasion!

Man I had a (long) but fun as hell day today, spent it until now with my friends to end our usual Halloween celebrations and begin our regularly Christmas demonry. 10/10 day I can’t wait to sleep for the entirety of tomorrow

Arcane is like if the MCU s first Avengers was Endgame, leaving us with the same levels of character loss with less the impact. It’s still at LEAST an 8/10 EASILY. S1 for sure is a 9, 2 is probably a 7. Overall a good show and I unfortunately am interested to see what comes next

There’s some cool commentary here about how the first volume colored out each hero, showing us how society had their sights on All Might only, whereas in current times everyone gets to be fully detailed, showing us the change that Deku brought. However, the series is still ass

Caught up with Dandadan, man I love found family (common Excell fact) and seeing this ever growing group of scoundrels makes me happy, especially since they all actually stay together after their arcs as this sweet friend group. It reminds me of how I tried my main cast in LSSD

I’ve really been enjoying Mario and Luigi Brothership! I’m at the start of the first big lighthouse and the game really picked up in pace after the first boss, it’s really good so far! Also Connie is really cute!

I will do the same, I love Locked Spirits: Sweet Dreams and all that comes with (writing, art, music, old/new friends, etc) and non LSSD related things (my dog, cooking, etc) too much to give up on it just because the world we live in wants to keep us down. More to come. Ball up top. We move. ILY

You have to live. You have to keep making art, keep writing, music, anything that you love doing. You can’t let a decaying orange of a person outdo you in resilience. If he continues to be a cockroach on our lives you have to be one right back. Don’t make it easy for them, live.

Regardless of what happens in the following months after that cockroach of a convicted ex president potentially gets in office again, just remember that all you have to do is your best. Be good to yourselves, be good to eachother, we can be strong

I might keep my layout like this for another day or two, The first part of November is just a worldwide after party of Halloween anyways, and I had a lot of fun doing festive scary jumpscare ahh things this year!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!! Scary Season is the best season, so I hope you guys had a good one! I definitely had fun, with a combination of the bajillion games that came out this month plus some Halloween parties and friendtivities

I’ve had so much fun with my friends this past week with Halloween parties, the new Mario Party, making (and then throwing) jack-o’-lantern’s made of pumpkins AND watermelon because it was funny like (also I was in a sonic onesie)

Good Shonen Jump week! Ruri Dragon had a really cathartic moment, Sakamoto Days showed us why Atari is actually BUSTED, KaguraBachi continues to be incredibly solid each week, and Ichi the Witch is fun!

Finished my reread of Sakamoto Days, it’s fun seeing it all flow together like that but man I wish the museum arc had at least 5 more chapters too it, still peak tho 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
