I started listening to the 'The Raven Scholar' audiobook and I am very much enjoying it. Such an intriguing world I've entered

After months, I have finally finished Xiran Jay Zhao's Heavenly Tyrant and all I can say is... WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!? WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT CLIFFHANGERS!? I loved every second though, and after an ending like that, I can't wait for the next one #heavenlytyrant #xiranjayzhao

Fun fact, ever since the release of the Clone Wars tv series, I haven't been able to watch Revenge of the Sith because Anakin's betrayal hurts so much more 🫠 It always makes me wonder how Star Wars would've gone if 4, 5 & 6 hadn't come out first too

I often think about how I want to manage my bsky and I come up blank because I am a very quiet person usually. But you know what, life is short, and I have lots of books to read and rave about, so I reckon that's what I'll do. Starting sometime, hopefully soon, but no promises

I've been rewatching Teen Wolf again, and my god, did s5 go hard with the design of the Dread Doctors. They have to be one of my favourite parts of the series.

It's been a while since I posted, so here's a little update! I recently had surgery so my writing is slow going, but my second draft is coming along at just over 80k words which is 5k more than the first draft and we're still not at the halfway point! I've also been reading a lot too!

I just finished Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao and-- WHAT AN ENDING LIKE, SERIOUSLY, THAT WAS NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING! Also, Mx Zhao, I have things I want to say to you, like how dare you rip out my heart, and well done. #ironwidow #booksky

I've been watching #squidgame season 2 and the round and round game had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. They've done so well that I was standing up the entire time.

My compression gloves arrived today which hopefully means that my writing adventures will be less painful from now on!

Dialogue has always been my weakest point that I've worked hard to try and get better at, but my latest chapter is testing my patience. There's so much dialogue this time and I may just combust. Stay tuned.

I'm onto chapter 5 of my second draft! I chose to do a complete rewrite of my first draft after fleshing out my world a lot more, and it's helped me to enjoy the process so much more! I'm very pleased with my progress #writing

I plan to share a WIP of my novel at some point, and start chattering away about books I've read, but for now, I am working on the third chapter of my second draft!! (I elected to rewrite the first draft from scratch after fleshing out the world more!)
