We are excited for Montana Shakespeare in the Parks returning to our neighborhood this Friday, July 11 for a performance of 𝘼𝙨 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙇𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙄𝙩 in Fishtail, Montana. The Bozeman Symphony begins the evening at 5:15 PM, as part of their Far Afield program, followed by the theatre performance at 6:30 PM.

"Kreisleriana", Fantasies for Piano, Op. 16 is one of Robert Schumann’s large piano cycles, comprised of eight movements with a narrative feel, which was conveyed through the expressive style of Evren Ozel when he performed the piece in the Olivier Music Barn on 31 August 2024.

Esteemed French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet performed at Tippet Rise presenting an all-Ravel program celebrating the French composer. Tombeau de Couperin was Maurice Ravel’s homage to the French Baroque composer François Couperin. All 3 of these musicians are represented in this new concert film.

Originally written for the organ, Florence Price’s 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 was performed live by Rebecca Anderson and Jenny Chen at Tippet Rise on 8/25/2023. The simple beauty of the piece is worn on the faces of these two amazing musicians and the audience showed their adoration in kind.

Les Barricades Mystérieuses was composed by François Couperin for the harpsichord in 1717. Two-hundred and seven years later, on August 24, 2024, the unique string quartet Owls performed their own arrangement of this seductive and bubbling piece for the Tippet Rise audience.

On the morning of August 24, 2024, Claire Chase lead an audience procession from 𝙓𝙮𝙡𝙚𝙢 up to the Olivier Music Barn where she then set the scene with "Lila" for Solo Flute by Dai Fujikura. The title Lila means "play" in Sanskrit which accurately describes the playful nature of Chase’s performance.

𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙯𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙬𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙖𝙘𝙚 by Ursula von Rydingsvard was installed at Tippet Rise about six months ago and the patina of this bronze sculpture has proved gorgeous against the backdrop of fall colors and winter whites. We can’t wait to experience it among the greening of spring and tall grass of summer.
