Claude is such a teenager. I keep on telling it that this is a jj repo, only use jj to navigate it. And it responds with hostility "yeah I know, it's in my memory" then turns around and proceeds to try to manipulate my repo with git.

I can't wait for Stategraph to be successful enough that we start playing Journey Don't Stop Believing at every All Hands.

In order to prep my codebase for Halloween this year, I'm renaming all instances of the Visitor pattern to Haunting.

Permissions in Claude Code are a joke. I use jj but Claude likes to default to git, so I added git to the deny list. So Claude Code just puts the git calls it wants to do in a bash script and run that instead. I feel safe.

Claude Code is so weird to use. 1. The editor is oddly slow, like hoping around by word just has some latency associated with it that is weird. 2. It uses a ton of CPU when it is doing nothing other than waiting for input.

My feed is full of AI folks talking about how they are running 20 agents, letting it rip, producing tens of thousands of lines of code per hour, and not even looking at it and it's amazing. Does anyone have any examples or products that consumers love that have been developed in this way?

I sure hope AI can replace programs like the boosters say because babysitting an AI is boring AF and nobody is going to want to do it 8 hours a day for someone else.
