Wireless charging is something that fascinates me just due to how it works. Never got the appeal until I tried it out though. Add that to the list of things I never could get the point of until I try it, like curved computer monitors and trackball mice.

tfw you like a band so much you go out of tour way to import their stuff. And I still haven't listened to everything they've put out. I can't listen to the OG versions of those early albums, though. The production is just horrible.

There's a part of me that prefers the original Wind Waker art style compared to the Wind Waker HD one. I like the stop-motion-esque look of the models of the Wii U version, but I don't like the bloom. I don't know why the bloom craze of the mid to late 2000's-early 2010's was a thing. Not a fan.

Just fixed an audio issue on my brother's computer. The HDMI output's audio wasn't working, and the output was recognized in Device Manager but not in the audio settings or Control Panel Disabled other audio devices, didn't work Update drivers, didn't work Upgrade to Windows 11, it works. WTF lol

I might watch through House M.D. at some point. I remember it being an interesting show when it aired. Maybe I'll appreciate it even more as an adult. Add that to my ever-expanding backlog of media.

Currently playing through the demo of Stellar Blade on PC. Wow, the English dub is very stilted. I might switch the voiced language to Korean or Japanese because of that. The game is fun, though. I like it so far. It's more graphically intensive than I thought it would be, that's for sure.

I like how the logo rises from the ground in the JP version of Pokemon Colosseum's title screen. Probably one of my favorite title screens in any video game.

I like the art style of the 3DS Pokemon games. Especially on emulator when the resolution is raised. I'm sure it's the cel-shading. It reminds me of Wind Waker in a good way.

Me: Oh, Doom The Dark Ages came out. I wonder if my computer can run it. 5120x1440 native on the low preset gets me around 45 FPS on an RX 7900 XT and a Ryzen 9 7950X3D. Yeah I'm running the new Doom game on an AMD GPU and I don't like upscaling, how could you tell? AMD does not ray trace well.

ToddintheShadows' video on Limp Bizkit's Results May Vary may actually get me to listen to those early albums. Mainly because of Wes Borland's guitar work. It also doesn't help that I hear Break Stuff more than I should. I find myself headbanging to that song when it plays at a stadium.

One of my big pet peeves of Pokemon Colosseum Hardcore Nuzlocke videos is that the players catch every shadow pokemon. I know it's probably possible to beat Colosseum while only catching one pokemon per location.

I just bought a Sega CDX and Sonic CD at a local anime con. Never thought I'd see one IRL. It outputs RGB by default, so I can use my RetroTink with it. Haven't played CD outside of the 2011 remake, even though I have Gems Collection. But that's based on the Windows 9x PC port.

One of my pet peeves about consumer grade CPU's is the low amount of PCIe lanes. If I add a 10 gig NIC or something, the performance wouldn't be as great as it could be. I've thought about going for a Threadripper, but that costs a lot of money. I can wait until the price drops on that.

3 Heart run of this game is finished. I like it, but I don't love it. Played on my japanese N64 copy. I swear it dips to sub-10 FPS sometimes. Even with the performance issues, it's not a bad game. It's just that I prefer Majora's Mask. MM has similar issues on real N64 hardware as well.

I just bought a Retrotink 4K despite already owning a 5X and not owning a 4K monitor anymore. I hate micro-USB so much, and I want to take advantage of the 4K's CRT filters. Also it has VGA just in case. It's expensive, but worth it to me. I like emulation, but real hardware is nice to play on.

I'm still a bit of an AI skeptic. I find LLM's to be interesting on a technological level. It's like cryptocurrency to me. I would never invest in crypto, though. That being said, getting these models to run locally on my computer has been a fun project. I have good hardware; might as well use it.

I forgot how much attractions break Kingdom Hearts 3. Even on Critical mode. Maybe I'll turn them off. I don't know.

Kingdom Hearts 2 at Level 1 is actually a pretty fun challenge. Especially if you don't grind. Well, grinding for drive form levels is pretty much a requirement. So that's a few hours of your time. It also helps that KH2 is one of my favorite games. I could not do it in KH1 or KH3.

I might play through Pokemon Legends Arceus to prepare for when Legends Z-A comes out this year. I remember liking it when it came out. A bit of a grind in the postgame that gives me Colosseum vibes in a bad way, but a fun game regardless. Wish it didn't run like crap, but emulators are a thing.

I took out the RTX 3070 in my Windows/Beat Saber PC and put it in my main computer. I'm using it as my virtual machine passthrough card. I'm surprised it works. My Quadro RTX A2000 is in that PC now. It's faster than my RX 580; it should function enough. My AuDHD brain works in weird ways.
