The next NITS workshop, taking place in May 2026 is organised by Damien Hansen and the TRADITAL team (tradital.ltc.ulb.be) and will be hosted by Université libre de Bruxelles!

The NITS 2025 best master thesis award was presented to Lotte van Eupen for her thesis with title "How do novice translators deal with competing norms? A case study of Dutch novice medical translators, risk management and the negotiation of translation norms."! Congratulations, Lotte!

Last Friday we held the NITS 2025 workshop here in Tilburg, @tilburguniversity.bsky.social ! It was great to have everyone here for great presentations, inspiring posters and interesting discussions. The panel on LLMs' place in education was full with great insights and inspirational ideas!
