Trying to use up last year’s frozen blueberries before the first flush of blueberries this year. Made a blueberry lemon loaf using buttermilk for an extra tang. Drizzled with vanilla glaze.

Needed something fluffy and easy after Dumas for almost two weeks.

A beautiful bowl of pizza chickpeas. Lots of added veggies like kale and carrots. Served with a slice of sourdough bread.

Finally finished this via audio and had to get a physical copy so I could go back and reread certain passages. Generally, I liked it. There’s a lot I didn’t like, but! Very entertaining, albeit wordy, and I’m convinced I would have made this book my entire personality if I had read it as a child.

Love finding small business gems that still are about innovating, being playful with flavors, and are definitely not fussy.
