it's kind of funny how hard they push pulaski. everyone is always like Pulaski is so great, she is incredible. in this one troi's like i have never met a more dedicated physician and Picard is instantly like hm yes i agree, but is she too dedicated? and troi is like no i know her well now (in 7 eps)

thinking about this again. it makes sense that the tin man and lion romanticize what they want but i just really love this. it really is what's appealing about an inquisitive nature. a bummer that it often ends up lovecraftian cosmic horror, but it comes back around if u give up some attachment

the ep where data has a beard he only has it for one scene at the start and it never comes up again. also this guy who knew soong looks at data and is like "looks like soong's work" which is extremely funny
