Just spitballing, but rather than Trump insisting the Senate shouldn’t confirm his nominees and that the FBI shouldn’t do background checks… Couldn’t he just appoint people for whom this wouldn’t be a problem? It’s a big country with lots of qualified, law-abiding people.
