Finally got my sea kayak out for a play in the sea around Samaesan area. I forgot how fabulous it is here, a nice 21km paddle with a stop for snorkeling.

Bangkok may be a mega city, but so lucky to be able to paddle around a place like Nong Bon Park within the city limits. Extra bonus points for it having 10 species or more of birds to see when you paddle.

A fun 40km Audax kayak event today on the Chao Phraya and near by klongs. Paddled the last 10km fast, but then got hooked in a fishing need with 1km to go, took 15 minutes to untangle my rudder!
