Not important but I meant to post what I brought to the Super Bowl party we went to. I made crispy gau gees and spinach artichoke dip and my mom fried chicken for us. The food at the party was the best part about the football game. Go Birds! We got next year.

I’ve followed the Eagles for a long time. Back in the McNabb days. Through the high hopes of getting Vick & thinking we’d finally win. Through calling their 1st SB win halfway through the season. I’m so glad to live through the J Hurts era & don’t want to know a football world where he’s not our QB1

Went to a car show over the weekend. Got to see some cool cars and not think about the horrible things happening for a while.

I made this ribeye last night for Isaac and it looked so good I had to take a few bites. 😋 Good thing he likes to share.

The day I sat in the living room with my family as we calmly waited to die. And then friends in the mainland heard it was a mistake before we did in Hawaii.

For the record I still love my team. And QB1. And everyone on the team except KP. I need more Jaelan Phillips and Tank Bigsby. Especially when I go to a Philly game at the Linc.

Isaac is vending for the first time to sell his cards and I’m here as his bodyguard haha. I told him the profits are going to our next trip to an Eagles game at the Linc.

Even though I never got to have one of my dream jobs of solving crimes, I do get to solve mysteries on a weekly basis. I get to get in the mind of my husband as I try to work out where he left something when it’s not in its designated spot. Makes life interesting.

We went fishing yesterday with the poles Isaac gifted us. We had a nice time. Isaac is the only one who caught anything (as usual) but they were only babies and we threw them back.

New Year’s Eve we went to my friends house for the fireworks show & I cooked for everyone. We brought bairdi crab, ribeyes, scallops, potatoes au gratin, roasted asparagus, and I made crispy gau gees to snack on while I cooked. Oh and a chocolate cake. Everyone loved it and I’m still tired & sore 😂.

I went on the road with Isaac today & we passed the Kualoa Ranch side where the beach is the backyard for some people & I could fish from my car on the road haha. I still don’t want to live on the beach because rust & TSUNAMIS 🌊. My one exception is on Lanikai beach. My favorite 🤩

When I’m reading a book ppl think that’s the time to interrupt me as if I’m not doing anything. It is easier to deal with ?s while working than while reading. With a book I’m in a different state/country/planet. Trying to notice clues to solve a mystery. Learning life lessons. Please let me be.

I got a Slushy machine for Isaac and couldn’t wait to have it opened and get it going. He (and my mom) looooove slushies and those types of drinks. I’m glad it was on sale for the season.

Our seats came with access to the SoFi club and free food and drinks/alcohol. And we could go behind the Eagles bench and see the players closer.

Got to see family in the Sacramento area. They are so warm and loving and fun. It was a great time seeing them.

Went to the Eagles 🦅 game in LA and even though I’m bummed about the loss it’s still GO BIRDS & QB1 for me. We had great seats and lots of fun cheering with other Eagles fans.

The potatoes look more yellow than they are in person. And I was too hungry to brown it. I was starving!!! I could barely walk after I made ribeye, scalloped potatoes, and Hungarian mushroom soup. But I’m really glad I did it. 😋

I’ve been after this jacket for a while and finally got it. Thinking about wearing it to the Eagles vs Chargers game.

Our fence is going up. They started on the neighbors’ side and they just dug the holes for our side today. This is the shared wall we’ll have with the neighbor. Our house is on the right. We wanted a gray fence to match the house better & it’s nicer but the price difference was insanely expensive.

Ok I’m done painting this truck with my Eagles colors. After I drew and painted the details I remembered I had stickers for the game in Dec that we’re going to so I’ll put a couple on the truck somewhere.

Part of the special paint job is making it Philadelphia Eagles themed. Sorry I’m better at drawing than painting. It’s easier for me to steady my hand while I draw vs when I paint. But this isn’t bad I think.

I’m gonna start this truck model and I’m planning a special paint job combo. I hope it works out.

I finished this the other day but forgot to post. It lights up & is a marble run. It works but the London Eye gets a little stuck so not sure what I need to adjust. The London Eye is usually white but they light it up purple for Mental Health Awareness Day so I painted it purple in honor of my OCD.

Menu was fruit/greens salad. Grape/cheese skewer, tuna | cucumber kimchi | chicken katsu | B.A.L.T w/garlic truffle aioli | sandwiches. Biscuits w/clotted cream & blackberry or raspberries jam. Strawberry cream cheese pie w/graham cracker crust & lemon cake w/lemon curd & cream cheese frosting.

Hosted tea. Wanted it to be pretty but was rushing so this was how it went. Didn’t take pics of the full set table. I made kimchi aioli, Icelandic tuna, katsu aioli, ckn katsu, black truffle garlic aioli, biscuits, balsamic vinaigrette, cream cheese frosting, lemon curd, crm cheese pie, graham crust

Eagles won. My fever is gone (but still sick 🤧), and I’m gonna start this mini London model that I’m very excited to start.

@joshmankiewicz.bsky.social my mom is watching Naked and Afraid. I looked up and the contestant from Hawaii (Maui I think), Sara (left pic) looks so much like Sandra Galas (right pic) from Kauai whose murder was covered by Keith on Dateline.

The lights turn on and the cuckoo chime works. I chose to turn off the hourly cuckoo chimes so that my dog won’t bark in the middle of the night when it turns on.

I painted the cuckoo clock like zebra wood & green wood with light green grains. I painted my bird like this exotic pigeon I found online.

I started the wooden cuckoo clock last week and forgot to post. I also got a wood stand that I added wheels to so that I could hold my paint pens. I used to have to make (4) trips to the craft room in the back of the house to bring these pens out.

Alright Kevin Patullo needs a different job. Even if the Eagles win the game. I can’t live like this every week this season. Not with the players we have.
