After watching the November 30, 1979 ABC primetime triple header, I'm revisiting Aris and Pat's talk about this card from about a year ago.

At the top of ABC's primetime triple header on November 30, 1979, they went back to Las Vegas for the main event, which saw Sugar Ray Leonard challenging WBC welterweight champion Wilfred Benitez. Howard Cosell was again at ringside.

For the second fight of ABC's November 30, 1979 triple header, the broadcast switched to New Orleans where Victor Galindez was defending his WBA light heavyweight title against Marvin Johnson. Chris Schenkel was ringside.

On November 30, 1979, ABC had a triple header of world championship bouts on in prime time. First up, Marvin Hagler finally got his long awaited title shot, facing WBA/WBC champion Vito Antuofermo at Caesars Palace. Howard Cosell was ringside.

November 29, 1991: Buddy McGirt W 12 Simon Brown, Las Vegas. Wins World Welterweight Title.

On November 28, 1980, Matthew Saad Muhammad defended his WBC light heavyweight title against Lottie Mwale at the San Diego Sports Arena. This is the UK broadcast with Reg Gutteridge at ringside.
